About Me
Nature has always been a part of who I am. Learning to work with the land wasn’t just a skill, it was a way of life instilled at a young age. At Calidad, I am passionate about returning those resources, tools, and traditions to my community.
Cultivating Legacy Through Nature. Rooted in Land, Committed to Community.
Stephanie Mack is a California native whose childhood was shaped between rural Northern California homestead living and the vibrancy of Oakland. Growing up tending gardens and stewarding land planted the seeds for her entrepreneurial path; one rooted in food sovereignty, environmental stewardship, and community care. With a background in science education and horticulture, Stephanie blends technical knowledge with lived experience.
Today, through seed archiving, sustainable garden design, green social events, and plant-based products, Stephanie’s work centers on supporting the Black community in reconnecting with nature as a tool for healing, autonomy, and generational knowledge.
Calidad exists to make cultivation accessible. Reminding us that tending the earth is also a way of tending ourselves.
