Our ancestors did not “work the land,” they had a connection to it. They understood the language of the land, when to sow, harvest, and preserve in relation to the natural rhythms of life. Many of us are feeling that connection pulling on us, and are yearning to learn the language that our ancestors spoke fluently.
The Seed Swap Co-Op is our curated collective to fulfill that desire with intention by preserving plant lineage through seed exchange and archival. While connecting Black land whispers across regions.
Members complete a short profile sharing what they grow, what they're seeking, and the environment they're growing in. From there, Calidad thoughtfully matches participants and facilitates the exchange, pairing seeds and stories with intention.
